I Have Some Bad News

Hey everyone I am sorry to have to do this but I will no longer be able to do the rants I have been doing. Between work and other obligations my time is already short and well I just don't have the time to do this the way I want to.

I will still post from time to time on Free Republic's web site but I just don't have time for this anymore which I hate to admit because I have truly loved doing it. I know I don't have that many fans here reading my rants but for those of you that do come here and take delight in my thoughts I want to thank you for coming.

I may at some time in the future get back into this when I have more time, and if I do I will let it be known at Free Republic. You folks take care and keep hitting all those conservative blogs out there as well as Free Republic to keep up with what is going on.

Republican Rants Will Be Moving

Hey everyone there will not be a blog tonight as I am working on a new blog site and will hopefully have it set up and ready soon. I like using this service but I have had a few problems and I also don't have the flexibility that I would like so that is why I am trying to set up something different.

Peaceniks (Those Who Want To Run & Hide) V's War Mongers (Those Of Us Willing To Fight Or Support Those Who Do)

So which side of history would you want to be on? Would you be proud of yourself when your say 60 or 70 years old and when the subject of this war comes up because your grandchild asks you what it was like? Would you be proud to admit you were a peacenik, would you be proud to admit you were a "War Monger" as the liberals call us? Just think how you would feel trying to explain your stance to your grandchildren.

Well let's see if your a peacenik then you'd have to tell them about how you disagreed with the majority of the country. You'd have to tell them that even though we found hundreds of thousands of mass graves filled with men, women, and children you still disagreed with the war. You'd have to tell them that you would rather Saddam to continue to rule over Iraq because it was wrong in your opinion for us to remove him from power. Then you'd have to explain/show your grandchildren just what this evil man did to the people of Iraq.

But if your a "War Monger" as the liberals say then you'd have to tell your grandchildren about how we are such a loving and caring nation that as we were dropping bombs on the military targets of Iraq we were trying to feed and tend to the people of Iraq medically so they could survive. You'd have to tell them about how our soldiers went over there knowing that some would never come home alive to defend this country. You'd have to tell them of how our soldiers spent days out in the desert heat trying to protect the people of Iraq as well as themselves. You'd have to tell them how the children of Iraq brought flowers to the soldiers to thank them for bringing freedom to their country. You'd have to tell them of the people dancing in the streets thanking our President for bringing freedom to them.

Now there are many more things you'd tell them from both sides but I think my position and what I will tell my grandchildren is clear. But with that being said let me make one more point from my heart about how I feel about being a "War Monger".

I am proud to be a "War Monger" if it means that I am behind the troops for their sacrifice. I am proud if it means that I supported the defense of my country and the liberation of a country of oppressed people. I am proud if it means that I supported getting rid of a sadistic evil murdering P.O.S. I am proud to be an American and what being an American stands for.

I'd rather die being an American fighting for his country then some scared little peacenik begging terrorists to do whatever/kill whoever they want as long as they just let me go.

Homicide Bombing Against U.N. In Iraq

Ok there is no question that reports will be flying for the next week if not longer about who dropped the ball here about intelligence regarding this attack, but that is not what I want to focus in on. What I want to look at here is the fact that democrats are using this attack as a club to try and beat up on President Bush. I know, I know what your thinking right now (Don't they use anything and everything to beat up on President Bush?), and the answer is yes. But Just stay with me and you'll see where I am going.

Kerry and Grahm have already used this against the President and I am sure many of the other 9 dwarfs will soon do so as well. But what makes this one subject hit such a sore spot with me is that if they are going to beat up the President over this then they are in essence saying that any target that is hit is our fault now. Believe me folks it's gonna get worse especially if we get hit here at home again. They will use this same logic, same tired argument, same despicable tactic against President Bush if the terrorists pull off another major attack here on our soil.

I mean I get pretty pissed off when no matter what President Bush does they try to attack him over it, but when it comes to using what terrorists have done to try and lay the blame at our President's door, well that just makes me down right mad as hell. If this was President Bush's fault then they might as well say that the bombing in Israel not long after the bombing in Iraq was the fault of Ariel Sharon. But no they would never do that and the reason they wouldn't is because they no it's not true and they would lose the Jewish vote.

The democrats have become a party of sick, sadistic, power hungry freaks in my opinion. Life and death is nothing more to them then political chess pieces to be used as pawns in their game of political power. When it comes to the death of soldiers or anyone on our side overseas they use those deaths for their own gain. There is nothing noble about those democrats who do that and I for one hope that when they stand face to face with God he has little remorse on their souls.

Environmentalists BULLSH** Strikes Again

Well our troops could be cooler while serving over in the desert heat of Iraq but thanks to what the environmentalists wacko's have done over the years the U.S. Postal Service has refused to send 302 air conditioners to help cool them off. This is so stupid folks and it just goes to show how much affect these wacko's have over our country.

All I can say is we need to hit these people head on folks. They want us to go back to the days of living in caves without lights, without air conditioning, without heat, without cars, and the list goes on and on. If they want to go live in caves I say go ahead we don't need you. But I will not give up my car, my air conditioning, my heat, and I will not give up my barbecue for anyone.

Just make sure you keep your heads on straight folks they spread a lot of lies to get what they want, they are liberals so what else would you expect???

The Tide Begins To Turn In Iraq

There is a new report out in the Telegraph from the U.K. that if true means that the tide has begun to turn in our favor in Iraq. They quote a few Iraq's who have turned their anger toward Saddam, Al Qaida, and the Iranian Militants who are targeting them instead of our troops. I always believed this time would come but I didn't think it would take so long.

Now I don't know if we should believe this or not but until the government finds out what caused the blackout I won't rule this out as a possibility. If nothing else this could have been a test run for something down the road. Remember folks we are coming up on the 2nd anniversary of the 9/11 attacks which is about the usual time in between major attacks for Al Qaida.

I just wanted to thank those of you who have been keeping up with my rants, it feels good to know that there are those of you out there who are interested in what I have to say. I know it's probably crazy trying to keep up with my time schedule of posting my rants and I apologize for that but dealing with work here and a family as well kinda makes my posting times a little weird.

The Blackout Of 2003

First let me apologize for not posting a rant last night but my internet service was out until late this morning and then I had to travel to see my bone doctor today so I am sorry for the long wait. By the way the doctor appointment. went fine in case anyone wanted to know.

Now down to business... Regardless of how/why the blackout happened yesterday I believe this should be a wake up call to all of us. Now the government is doing a lot to stop another terrorist attack on our soil but believe me folks they can't stop them all. Also if anyone thinks that with all the information, hints, tips that we had before 9/11 we could have stopped it, well think again (I'll explain more at the end of this rant).

Now back to what happened yesterday. Something or someone knocked off the power to millions of people in many areas and even as we speak some people still don't have power. But to me this isn't the scary part of this situation in fact to me it shows only a pre-cursor of a major problem if the terrorists used such a tactic that could result in millions of deaths.

Ok hang on there are many scenarios to this so let's start with small attacks. We know the terrorists are very fond of using homicide bombers so let's tackle that one first. Think back to those images we saw yesterday of all those people walking out of buildings and out onto the streets. Now put some homicide bombers in different spots of the crowd waiting till the crowd gets packed tight and you have complete carnage.

As if that thought isn't scary enough think back to what we have heard of the terrorists trying to use crop dusters. Imagine if they loaded some crop dusters full of bio weapons and with the electricity down got those planes up in the air. With all the communications networks down yesterday and all those people out on the streets. Think about it folks cause it's not that far fetched of an idea and is very possible to do which is a terrifying thought cause there really isn't much the government could do about it.

Now for those of you who are saying, (What do you mean the government couldn't do anything about it?). Well thanks to the democrats we can't profile people which would give us a big boost on catching these sleepers we have here in our country. Plus given the fact Israel has the toughest security of any country and they can't even stop all the terrorists before they pull off an attack.

Ok now to explain my reference to 9/11 above. The reason i don't believe we could have stopped the attacks of 9/11 is because even with all the information we had coming in the main parts were just bits and pieces. Imagine trying to put together a jigsaw puzzle that is not only in a million pieces but scattered between you and 10 of your friends. Now imagine that along with these million pieces you and your friends have thousands of new pieces being brought to you every day to add to this puzzle. Now add to that the fact that some of these pieces don't fit in this puzzle anywhere cause they are pieces that look like the puzzle but are really just bogus pieces put in to throw you off.

I think you get my point here folks cause it's simple. We can't expect our CIA/FBI/DOJ etc.. to figure out everything. They are human just as we are and I am sure trying to do their best. Given the fact that they were gutted from using certain sources in the Clinton administration I think led to a lot of the breakdown of intel we received.

This is a wake up call America we are/have been/will be venerable to another attack so be on your toes. Also one final note before I close to all of you who are saying right now (How could you put this up??? What if they read this and get ideas from what you posted???). Look these terrorists are smart and pulled off a major attack on 9/11 which most people would have never believed possible. What I have posted is common sense given their past tactics so don't tell me I am giving them ideas.

Ok thats it I'm gonna leave it at that for tonight. Again folks i am sorry for not having the rant up last night but it was out of my hands. I hope you all have a good weekend and please if your out around the areas that are still suffering from the blackout try lending a hand to some people cause I'm sure they would welcome it.

We've all heard the term "Unnamed Sources" or "My Sources Tell Me" used time and time again. Those words have been used by many in the media for a very long time. Some of those "sources" have given good information as we have seen over the years but there are many instances when we have heard something from a reporter claiming to have information from these "sources" and then never hear another word about the story after that time.

The use of these types of "sources" has led to the downfall of many people because they are to afraid that people will believe what these "sources" have told reporters and not them. Sometimes it has even led to the downfall or in this instance the apparent suicide of an "Unnamed Source" Dr. David Kay. The proof of this is shown here.

Another instance of using "Unnamed Sources" was what happened to Capitol Hill Blue's Doug Thompson when he admitted he was played as a sucker. ( Full Article )

I for one believe it is the latter nowadays given the way the news is now seen as competition and no longer information for the public.

We have long since past the days when being a reporter meant you had integrity and the public could believe you when you told/printed a news story. Today there are very few reporters/media people you can trust as proved by the BBC reporter Andrew Gilligan and the NYT's reporter Jason Blair. But those are only the ones who have been caught in their lies, question is how many more are lying and who are they?

As you navigate the sewers of the liberal media folks I have but one bit of advice to give. Tread lightly through the sea of words for the sharks now reign supreme.

Soldiers Setting The Record Straight!!!

I have recently been telling you about Chief Wiggles who has a blog and has been speaking out setting the record straight about how things are going over there in Iraq. Well more and more soldiers are sending word back home painting a very different picture then what we are hearing in the press here.

When I heard that the press was gonna be allowed to go with the troops into war I had mixed feelings about it, but all in all since I watched Fox News throughout the entire war I was pleasantly surprised. But now even Fox News has fallen into the trap of bad news equals big ratings. It's a sad state of affairs when you really don't know who is telling you the truth about what's going on with our troops over there.

But thanks to the internet and some soldiers who want us to know the truth we do have a window to the truth. You've got to hand it to these soldiers who are taking the time to send emails, write blogs, etc... to let us know what is really happening over there.

Here's a letter that was posted on Free Republic by Trteamer. There are more which I will post at the end of this rant which once you read them, Chief Wiggles blog, and other blogs linked to Chief Wiggles blog the picture becomes very clear.

We are winning, the Iraqi people do love us and want us there, and we did what democrats have been to afraid to do for a long time... Taking the fight to our enemies before they can take the fight to us.

You know I've been listening to many media people saying how we should have had more of a post war plan for Iraq. That we should have known how bad the electrical systems were. That we should have known some of the people that helped us would turn on us. That we should have known this, that, and the other.

I've been listening to this for the past 3 months now and for pete's sake I wish they would shut the hell up! 99% of these jerks who think they know so much were against the war in the first place and the 1% that wasn't isn't helping matters here. I mean I can understand what some of the generals are saying about changing tactics and using the force over there differently but you can only plan for all that you can think will happen.

But the main thing that keeps coming up is the WMD's thing. Folks can't we give them time to find them before we start questioning them? I mean you have 2 options of what is going on with the search right now.

1.) They have already found some of the WMD's but can't/won't say anything right now so the families of those who are helping us are safe.

2.) We haven't found them yet cause they were moved out of country or buried real good.

You may be asking how i know he does have the weapons? Well common sense will tell you that. Go do a search on Saddam and WMD's, you'll see how much we knew he had and how much we didn't know he had but found out in the 90's. Either way the media needs to report ALL the news and not just the bad things over there. As I said before we are not getting the whole truth from the media.

If you want the real truth about things now a days folks your gonna have to go find it cause the media ain't gonna show it or print it to often. In fact the scariest thing about all this is the fact most of our media is almost as bad as Baghdad Bob (The Iraqi Info Minister). The only difference between them and him is that we had cameras showing us the truth. The problem we have here at home is that the liberal media machine we have will never let the cameras show how wrong they are.

Be thankful we have the internet my friends for it cuts through a lot of the BS when you know the right people.

Those Lost In The Political Race In 04

I was gonna rant about something different tonight and really for the life of me I can't remember what it was now but either way this is more important. I got a ping from "Political Numbers Guy" on Free Republic about a blog he had found from one our soldiers in Iraq. As I started to read some of his posts I realized just how much we, as a nation have been mislead.

I read this soldier's posts with a heavy heart cause I could sense the feelings of this soldier so much it was as if he reached out to me from Iraq like a brother, father, or son writing home to his family. His posts are personal to all who read them I believe, as he treats all who read as family.

I hear the democrats say with such passion everyday that dissent is not unpatriotic, in fact it is the most patriotic thing we can do as an American. Well I agree with them on this and I will try to make this loud and clear enough for them to hear.

I want to know why you (democrats, liberals, media) think you have the right to use our men and women who serve for your political gain?

I want to know why you insist on focusing on all the minute things that are going wrong and keep forgetting about all the good that has come to pass?

I want to know why you want to beat up on a President who sent those men and women into a fight to make sure that we have a future here at home?

I want to know why you made this President jump through so many hoops to be able to execute this war which put our troops in even more danger?

I want to know why you keep trying to make it look like we are losing over there and that we here at home will lose our focus and want our troops to come home before the job is done which gives those who are our enemies a sense of hope to keep fighting?

I want to know how you can sleep at night, look at yourselves in the mirror, and yes even call yourselves an American when you act like a backstabbing coward who only cares about gaining political power at any and all costs?

I simply want to know why it's more important to you to use this war (and in effect use our troops) as a political tool to bash this President so you can get a democrat into office in 04?

I know I will never get a truthful answer from you but then again it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter because there is no excuse for it what so ever. You keep saying that "The President mislead us!" which is a lie in itself. It was not the President who mislead us, it was you. You the democrats, the liberals, the media are those who have mislead, no lied to this nation in a time of war. It is you who have put our troops in more danger by making statements that only serve to embolden those who are our enemies.

What you have done is put the lives of those who serve this country at risk for your own power. You have those in your ranks (Charlie Rangel) that have called our soldiers baby killers and assassins. You have no shame it seems when it comes to doing whatever it takes to gain power, and as for class you are severely lacking.

There is no quagmire, this is not Vietnam all over again to anyone but you. If you truly see a quagmire I suggest you you seek help from a doctor cause your acid filled trips from the 60's have come back to haunt you. I also think you should try keeping your big mouths shut for a change so our troops can do their job with the support they deserve.

Highlighting all that is wrong in Iraq, while ignoring all that is good is one hell of a way for you to try and win in 04. It may get you some votes but is it really worth it? Is it worth so much that you have to give aid and comfort to the enemy? Cause that is exactly what you have done and I for one despise you even more for it.

Well thats about all I can say on that folks without having my heart explode from that anger raging inside me right now. But before I close this and take my weekend off from ranting I would suggest that you all go read that blog I was talking about by Chief Wiggles. You will learn things from it that will fill you with joy and at times make you shed a tear. But most of all it will in at least some small way bring you closer to the men and women who are out there defending us from evil, defending our right to say what we think, and most of all defending our honor.

Al Gore (The Robot Returns)

Well I guess it was inevitable but at least it was good for a laugh today. Al Gore made a speech in front of a clearly far left wing crowd sponsored by moveon.org (a far left anti-war group of nut cases). Now in this speech there was nothing new really, it was the same old stuff as a matter of fact. It was attack, attack, spin, and attack the whole time with no care as to what the truth really is.

I'm not gonna go into detail about what he said cause it's really just like watching a B rated version of Howard Dean, scratch that it was worse then that cause Howard Dean is a B rated movie himself. But I will point to a couple of things that should be noted but have not been said so far as i have heard. Then again having to listen to Gore speak is well, let me put it this way, Jar Jar from Star Wars makes more sense and would be a better public speaker.

Ok the first thing is that today's speech shows that Gore is done, he's toast, he is a political nobody. Why do I say that you may ask, well let's look at what happened today during the speech. He started off with most major cable news networks covering what he had to say but they didn't stay long, he was gone off every channel before he was halfway done with the speech. Also he had to ask to be able to speak where he was instead of being invited. Then to top it all off he looked like a bad version of C-3PO reading a Howard Dean script.

The second thing is that he completely discounted the idea he would run for President in 04. Now will he hold to that, only time will tell. But if he does then it seems to me that he knows full well if he goes up against Bush again he will be wiped off the face of the Political map for good.

This was a clear attack on the President today by a man who's future is destined to be a college professor at Berkly and nothing more. But like I said it was good for a laugh watching him self destruct. As for the rest of the democrats I will enjoy watching them continue to follow Dean's lead. It will be like watching lemmings running off the side of a cliff in mass numbers of suicide.

Let me say first and foremost I am not from California so I will not pretend to know who is best to represent Republicans for Governor out there. But coming from a state that seems to be hooked on electing crooked democrat politicians again and again I can sympathize with the dilemma. That being said I would like to give my opinion on the subject from being on the outside looking in.

California as we all know went to gore in 2000, although it's still up in the air if that would have happened if the media wouldn't have called Florida early. But given the straight facts of how a lot of people there were against the war, have people trying to get "Under God" taken out of the Pledge, not to mention now saying that the Boy Scouts are a religious organization and it goes on and on.

It's a very liberal state to say the least and well to be honest I don't think a strict Conservative would win the vote in this recall. Arnold seems to be a very good choice to begin a progression back to the right way of thinking in California in my opinion. I am all for the idea of having a more Conservative politician win but in this case I believe slowing the train down before putting it in reverse is a wise choice rather then slamming on the brakes and having a multi-car pile up of a train wreck.

Like I said this is just from someone on the outside looking in but I think Arnold would be the best thing for California right now. He more so then anyone else could bring in more business there and thats just from the star power, but if you couple that with good sound business ideas then you have a very powerful mix. He is a man with strong convictions when it comes to kids and has been for a long time. He actually tries to help kids, gets involved with things for them, and really cares. That is something that should be noticed cause he won't be out their kissing babies to get elected, he will do it just cause he really loves them.

In the end it's up to the people of California to decide this and my opinion as the opinions of many others around this country don't mean squat. I've just said what I feel in my heart is the best way to go but for you Republican's over there just vote who you think will be the better Governor and hope you end up with the right one.

President Bush Meeting With Jesse Jackson

Well, well, well, who would have believed that the leader of the black caucus would stoop so low as to purposely not tell President Bush that when he met with him at the White House he would actually be meeting with him and Jesse Jackson as well? Obviously not the democrats as was clearly shown tonight on Hannity and Colmes.

Many Black Republicans, Maha Rushie, and others were very upset at this news and rightfully so. I mean Bush meeting with this scum bucket was not good news. But tonight on H&C we found out from Niger Innis who is a member of C.O.R.E. said that his sources have told him that the President was "Hoodwinked" into meeting with the black devil himself.

But as always the democrats will and have spun this story to try and discredit the President (no surprise here). But what is a surprise (to me at least) is that they actually think they'll get away with it. I mean folks they are so far out on a limb right now about the WMD's it's like walking out on a limb thats about to break right over a 10,000 foot cliff.

Anyways as for me I'll take Niger's word for what happened. I'll take the word of a fellow Republican over a democrat any day. Either way you can file this story under "democratic blunders 101" along with the many other blunder the democrats have made since Bush took office.

WMD's Don't Exist (So Say The Democrats)

Ok this is another story that will (trust me on this) be filed under "democratic blunders 101" in a few months. The democrats keep coming out and saying there are no WMD's (especially howard dean). But what is this we see in the news now about our troops finding 30 migs buried in the sand west of Baghdad? These are some big pieces of metal folks, especially compared to trying to find 55 gallon drums or better yet vials of chemical/biological weapons.

It's been what, 3 maybe 4 months since the end of major hostilities in Iraq and we JUST found these big ass migs buried just west of Baghdad. Now if we have just found some hunks of metal that are that big, how long do you think it will take to find vials or drums of stuff?

Well as i said democratic blunders 101 has been and will be the rule for the foreseeable future it seems which serves me fine. I will be looking forward to a great victory for President bush in 04, not to mention for us (Republicans).

Intelligence/Classified Intelligence And The Media

This subject has been a thorn in my side ever since President Bush took office. The fact that "unnamed sources" in our government would/do give the media information that we have no business hearing. Yes folks I said it we have no business hearing what intelligence our government has when it's an ongoing investigation, would reveal sources, and/or put our people at risk in any way.

But then the question comes up (as it always does). Don't you want an open government? Shouldn't we the American people know what our government knows about the Saudi's? Shouldn't we know what our government knows dealing with intelligence to make sure they are doing the right thing? Well let's see if I can answer those questions in a civil and delicate manner. NO not when it comes to intelligence and I think your out of your mind if you do think we should know.

Now that I have probably ruffled quite a few feathers let me explain my point so that you can understand why I believe what I believe. I'll try to make this easy and not complicated or confusing if I can by showing an example.

You have a detective in a state who is investigating a high state official for doing things he shouldn't have done. The high state official has many connections to organized crime and may also be part of crimes involving many deaths of innocent people. This detective has been investigating this matter for 3 or 4 years now but still doesn't have all the evidence nor does he have all of the players in this crime. A report is released revealing some of the information they have so far but he has kept some of the report and will not release it to the public cause it would tip off those who are being investigated and show what this detective knows.

This report causes the high state official to start trying to see what is in that report that wasn't released to see how much the detective knows. But at the same time the detective knows this and is using this to his advantage to gain more evidence since the high state official doesn't know what the detective knows and waits for the high state official to start trying to clean things up. Since the high state official doesn't know who the detective is after, how he gets his information, who his sources are, or what methods he uses to get his information he tries to get the papers released to find out what this detective knows.

Now the media finds a "source" that is working with the detective and he's the type of guy who likes that attention he gets from the media, plus he's looking to get a few favors from them once he starts running for office so he leaks some of the information. Now three things begin to happen as a result of those leaks from this media "source".

1.) The high state official puts two and two together that he and his cohorts are being investigated and watched.

2.) The people working for the detective start abruptly committing suicide, having nasty car wrecks from drinking and driving when they hardly drank before, and gun fights with criminals who when in the end.

3.) This media "source" ends up being elected to state office thanks to the media digging up numbers of stories that make his political rivals look like scum while painting this "source" as a man of the people when he is so dirty he makes a two bit street hooker hooked on cocaine look like Mother Teresa.

In the end the detective finally scratches together enough evidence to put away the high state official but only for a short time since thanks to the media "source" giving out intel to the media the high state official was able to cover most of his tracks and kill most who knew the truth. As for the high state officials connections, well most couldn't be linked to him for lack of evidence.

Now although the above story is fiction it could be true. This has/does/will happen in the future. This is only a story about one powerful man in one state running a crime organization, but what if it were dealing with another country? What if those men who died because of the media sources weren't detective over here but Soldiers/CIA/FBI over there? What if because of the media "sources" releasing intel that shouldn't be according to the President we ended up losing some of the people we were trying to catch? What if we were trying to gather enough evidence on an entire country to present to the world and make them all sit up and notice cause we had the goods on a lot of people? What if we were using that intel we had that the "source" leaked to force that country into being a better neighbor on the world scene?

The possibilities are enormous and endless folks, but those "sources" in the media and many of you out there who say you have a right to know and want to know right now hinder those possibilities. I may be a lone kook here in many of your eyes but you just ask yourself one question and then see of you think I'm still a kook. Is it really worth hearing/seeing intel before an investigation is done if you reveal information that would help the enemy and cost American lives? Now if you can say yes to that question, then I say your the kook.

As for the media out there who just have to get their scoops and get information about intel from "sources" I think your a bunch traitors to your country. Reporting the news is one thing, compromising the lives of American forces at home and abroad is another and I hold many of you reporters responsible. I don't care if your democrat or Republican it just isn't right and your hurting your country.

The Bar Set Higher!!!!

Well we had great news come out Thursday from Dr. David Kay. It seems his team is well on the way to having all the facts of what programs Saddam had but will not publicize anything until his case is rock solid. He also stated that he was amazed at the deception program Iraq had to deceive weapons inspectors. Then on top of what David Kay has said there are rumors buzzing around on fourm boards that in documents found there are links to Al Qaeda and much more.

Now no one really knows for sure what David Kay has apart from those who heard him speak in the private meeting Thursday morning, and you have to wonder if he told them everything as well. But that being said there are a few indicators out there that are subtle yet very revealing if you just take the time to look at them.

The most recent one came from the President's news conference on Wednesday in the Rose Garden.

Q Mr. President, you often speak about the need for accountability in many areas. I wonder then, why is Dr. Condoleezza Rice not being held accountable for the statement that your own White House has acknowledged was a mistake in your State of the Union address regarding Iraq's attempts to purchase uranium? And also, do you take personal responsibility for that inaccuracy?

THE PRESIDENT: I take personal responsibility for everything I say, of course. Absolutely. I also take responsibility for making decisions on war and peace. And I analyzed a thorough body of intelligence -- good, solid, sound intelligence -- that led me to come to the conclusion that it was necessary to remove Saddam Hussein from power.

Now for those of you that have been watching this whole uranium thing play out for the past few weeks you will notice that this is the first time the President has said that he takes "Personal Responsibility" regarding the uranium story. That says to me that when he was briefed by David Kay on Tuesday he was told that they have documents proving that this meeting in Africa did take place.

Another indicator that people should look at is that the President has yet to back down from the fact that Saddam had a weapons program. Which tells me that he knows there were weapons there, we have proof of the programs, and if we don't have the weapons we know what happened to them or are close to finding out.

But then what happens after David Kay comes out of the meeting and talks to the press? The democrats set the bar even higher. We not only have to prove that Saddam had a weapons program but we also have to produce the weapons themselves. Folks they know they are in trouble here that is why they set the bar higher. History already proved Saddam had a weapons program but that was something that democrats had questioned. Some actually believed there was no weapons program in place there when we went to war.

I am positive even with the bar being set where it is that we have the evidence of the programs and the weapons but I can promise you that this will not be enough in the eyes of the democrats. But how could they spin the factual proof of the WMD's if we have found them or know where they are, you may ask. Well the sad fact is that there are many democrats who will and do believe we planted the weapons there. I know it sounds crazy, but then again look who we are dealing with here folks.... Not exactly the best and brightest America has to offer, that's for sure.

I know some of you will have trouble believing that so just go check out what some everyday democrats are saying over at the DU. This thread there sheds a lot of light into their thinking and what we can expect from them when the proof is presented to the American people.

Either way this story is far from over and in the end will show just how petty, idiotic, and power hungry the democrats really are. They will do anything for power including hurting their own country.

WMD's (Everyone Wants To Know Where Are They???)

Ok this subject has been been out there and just won't go away. Even though to me it seems that we are in fact looking for weapons that could be hauled away in trucks, be kept in underground sites, buried in the sand or under a rose bush, hell they can even be put into small enough containers that someone could hide them in so many different places that it's mind boggling to figure out where they are.

Yet again and again we hear democrats harping, anti-war nuts sneering, and news analysis anchors asking "Where are they???". They just don't give up when it comes to trying to tear down this President. It seems to me (as has been said by many fellow Republicans especially Freepers) that since the 1980's we have known about Saddam WMD's. We know he gassed the Kurd's, we know that UNSCOM destroyed a lot of weapons in the early 90's but didn't get them all, we know that former President Clinton bombed targets in Iraq to destroy chemical/ biological/ nuclear weapons sites, and last but not least we all know that the U.N. had multiple resolutions calling on Saddam to submit to inspections and to disarm.

Now all that being said it seems that there is only one of two things these people believe.

1.) That between the time that the inspectors were thrown out of Iraq in 1998 and the time the war began Saddam ordered for all his stockpiles of WMD's to be destroyed without anyone there to see it happen or even keep a record of it.

2.) It's a partisan attack on the President in the hopes that the weapons aren't found until after the next election is over and the democrats have won the election due to distrust in President Bush.

I happen to believe it's the second option myself. As far as the question of WMD's I believe we have either found some, know where some are, or know where they were shipped to. President Bush has proved time and time again that he holds his cards close to his vest at all times. The democrats always think he's bluffing and keep throwing down cards thinking they have the winning hand until at the last minute the President lays down his cards and pulls back the pot right under their noses as their jaws drop in amazement. I have a feeling sometime right before the SOTU address or mid summer next year the President will lay down his cards and walk away with the pot yet again. That pot will be a re-election victory by a hefty margin.

Texas Democrats On The Run Again!!!

This is simply pathetic in my opinion folks. It shows many things that we as Republicans have long known about democrats for many years. They are cowards when it comes to a fight they can't win. Instead of standing their ground they run for the hills. Instead of having their vote go on the record and coming out to speak about it to try and win public support (which they wouldn't but could at least try) they run for the hills. Instead of showing that they stand up for their beliefs and went down fighting they run for the hills.

I think that this should not only outrage Republicans but democrats alike. Their (democrats) leaders are running away, they are skipping town and deserting their jobs which would get you fired from any other job in the United States. But the worst part of this is what they are teaching the young people of this great country. If you are losing a fight then don't lose with dignity just run away. I wonder if this is what they (democrats) would do if elected to be President. Well then again there is no need to wonder about that because the former President did run from his responsibilities on a number of occasions when we were attacked and left a mountain instead of a mole hill for President Bush to deal with.

The democrats have been backed into a corner folks and have shown their true face and color. We have always known they were represented by a jackass but at least now they have showed which end leads the party (the phrase the south end of a north bound mule comes to mind). As for the color well they no longer represent the Red, White, and Blue folks cause they are all yellow.

Well I guess this shouldn't be any surprise really but it just goes to show how blinded the democrats are by greed. Yes folks it's greed pure and simple, greed for power. Since our military has bagged Saddam's boys not one democrat that is running for President seems to be happy about it. I'm not going to rehash what they have said cause frankly it's not worth it.

As for the flip side I think by killing these 2 pieces of human waste and showing their dead bodies to the Iraqi people has helped. I mean already we have heard reports of increasing tips coming in on the where abouts of Saddam, not to mention we have also captured some of his security force (Nice Job Guys!!!).

As for the controversy of showing the pictures and tape on TV, well complain if ya want but it looks like it's working so don't complain to much. But I think the actions the democrats have showed should be looked at very carefully here. Their statements and actions of late are becoming desperate and inexcusable.

Only thing that I am wondering now is when we bag Saddam, how will they act then??? Not to kindly I'm sure and well frankly watching them meltdown should be a fun sight to see.

16 Words Defended By Bill Clinton? (I Smell A Rat Aiming For 2008)

Well when I heard the news that former President Bill Clinton spoke on Larry King Tuesday night and defended President Bush I could hardly believe it. But then I read what he had said, and well I think it was possibly the first time in the mans life when he actually told the truth.

But could he really be telling the truth because he sees a sitting President in trouble or is there something behind this gesture of good will? You better believe it folks, I mean come on this is Bill Clinton (aka Slick Willy).

Now I am sure most of you have heard Sean Hannity using the argument that Clinton used back in 1998 to bomb Iraq in defense of President Bush. As you know he has made the argument that if they (the democrats) are gonna question President Bush's credibility about going to war against Saddam then they also have to question Clinton's credibility since President Bush basically used the same intel as he did.

So that begs the question of is this possibly a way for Clinton to keep the heat off of him and protecting what little bit of good he may have done in Iraq by chopping the democrats off at the knees? Yeah I think that could be part of it, but there is also another plus in this for Mrs. Clinton as well.

With Clinton chopping the democrats off at the knees with only issue they have right now, the death of Saddam's sons, and the wmd evidence coming around in the next few months President Bush is almost guaranteed to win re-election in 04. Now if he does then that gives Mrs. Clinton 4 years to work on trying to discredit President Bush as well as the Republican party so she can win the election in 2008.

Now do I think that she will be successful in doing that, who knows what will happen between 04 and 08 for her to latch on to. But I have a gut feeling that the stranglehold the democrats have had over this country for the past 50 years is slowly but surly coming to an end. But as I said before folks there is more behind the comments of Clinton on Larry king Tuesday night then meets the eye, get ready for The Clinton's (The Sequel) in 2008 and let's hope it's a failed attempt.

Charlie Rangel (Democrat or Hussein Sympathizer)

Well I don't know why but I am still amazed at what I heard Charlie Rangel say on Hannity and Colmes tonight. I mean the last time this man made statements that made me blow my top was when he said something to the effect of our soldiers were over there killing innocent women and children. I mean we all know some innocent civilians did die in the war but this jackass was saying it as if we targeted them.

Anyway as for tonight he had the nerve to not only say that the killing of Saddam's son's Uda and Qusay was against the laws of the United States but he again attacks our soldiers with snide remarks. If you missed it then check out Newsmax who has a good article on it.

I waited to put up this rant til after I watched it at 1 am this morning since I missed it earlier and I am glad I did. I love Sean Hannity and have to give him a lot of credit for keeping cool with "good ole Charlie" cause if I was him I would have lost my job tonight. I would have called that man so many names that shouldn't be uttered on national tv that they would have had to go to commercial.

The democrats have sunk to a level that is even low for them in my opinion. I know, you are asking me right now where have I been.. they have been doing this for a long time!!! I know they have but what I am saying is that the level of (insert your own term here) they are shoveling now is deeper and smells worse then I can ever remember.

But alas maybe, just maybe this is a good sign. Maybe if they keep this up more people will see them for who and what they really are.

Democrat Ad And It's Effect

First off let me apologize for the absence of the blog for the past 3 days, to much going on here at home to post so sorry.

Now to the business at hand which is the new ad the democrats are running, which I am sure most of you have seen by now. I am really torn between being angered yet again by the democrats for the way they portrayed what President Bush said in the SOTU (State Of The Union) speech. But on the other hand with the news media being focused on this for the past 2 weeks now and showing the full 16 words in context I'm not so sure whether I should be angry or laugh at the democrats.

I know that the core base of the democrats will be salivating over this ad and we here on the right will be angry but what about those that are still in the middle? I mean if someone is still in the middle about who to believe, who to trust, and/or who is better to lead this great nation of ours I actually have to believe that the democrats have yet again shot themselves in the foot.

The news reports about the 16 words and the dnc ad do not match up. The way it is used is very misleading and I believe that those in the middle will see that. Now the question that they have to ask themselves when Bush is proven/vindicated to be right about those 16 words is this.

Can we really trust the democrats? Can we believe that they lied about what President Bush said because they wanted to protect us that much? I don't think so folks, most people in the middle will see the light.

U.S. State Department & Intel, Should We Trust Them???

Ok I have tried to find the text of what I heard Friday on FNC about the documents that the Bush Administration released showing that five out of the six intelligence agencies believed that Saddam was actively seeking uranium from countries in Africa. No surprise that it turned out to be the State Department that questioned the Intel being legit enough to sight as evidence.

Now I have heard the State Departments name coming up again and again over the past couple of years. Most times it has been for things that, well frankly put all of us in danger. Newt Gingrich has been raising his voice for a few months now about transforming the department and with very good reason I might add.

If you look at the history of just the last few years you will understand what he is talking about and then with the knowledge of this finding that it was the State Department who railed against the Intel of the uranium so much well it makes this all the more frightening. The State Department it seems is actively working against the Bush Administration in this war on terror, helping just enough to keep it's name out of the mud.

I think we should all really start to wonder if the State Department is really helping us or are they in fact working against us. Also by "State Department" I am not singling out Colin Powell because I'm not sure he is to blame for this. I believe it goes much deeper then him, in fact I wonder if he is really able to run it at all. It is very possible that the department is run from within and changing that culture (or unstacking that deck) left by the Clinton administration might be harder to do then liberating the Iraqi people.

Tony Blair..... More Of An American Then The Democrats???

It seems ironic to me that in these days of such importance, in days where we face an invisible foe, in days where we have democratic leaders openly calling for the impeachment of our President over 16 words in the SOTU speech, it takes the leader of Britain to in essence give the democrats a lesson in just who we are as Americans.

Tony Blair gave a speech on the floor of Congress that was worthy of a SOTU Address in my opinion. He was elegant in his speaking, gave credit to the soldiers, and never backed down a bit about what we did being the right thing to do. He was cheered by the members in attendance many times and frankly overwhelmed at the thanks he received from them.

But as always the disdain and contempt of the democrats showed through as the speech went on. Hilliary was clearly not happy, in fact I was waiting for the snakes to come out of her hair and turn everyone to stone. Senator Carl Levin seemed to be sleeping (what a show of respect). Nancy Pelosi looked like she wasn't to thrilled to be there, and further more had trouble standing in ovation at times. Tom Daschle, Teddy Kennedy, and a host of other democrats had a look on their faces that can only be described as being forced to swallow a bitter pill.

Tony Blair spoke of America and it's people not as another country, but rather as a brother in a proud family. He spoke of America with such passion and pride that you would swear he was in fact the President of the United States. He spoke of our strength, how it was so necessary in todays world yet still so misunderstood. He spoke of how our two nations are now bound together in a way they have never been before. All in all he praised this country in such a way that you would expect from only an American.

I guess in a way I can understand why the democrats showed their disdain for Tony Blair while making his speech before them. In his speech he showed just how out of touch and how petty they truly are. When Tony Blair spoke of what we are doing in Afghanistan and Iraq he showed a united front with this country. But as for the democrats, well they have shown this country that all they are interested in is power.

I have come to the conclusion, based on the actions of many democrats that they would in fact love to see us lose the war in Iraq or even more so be attacked again by terrorists for the simple fact of making President Bush look bad. Instead of showing the world that we as a nation are united against any and all foes, they have chosen to become one of this nations greatest enemies.

So I'll answer my own question... Is Tony Blair more of an American then the democrats, I'd have to say without a shadow of a doubt he truly is...

I have to tell you folks when I set this blog up I figured the first thing I was going to rant and rave about was the way the dimwits (democrats for those who need clairification) are trying to turn us all against President Bush and his administration. But when I got up this morning and checked out the news I find out that 6 soldiers were on TV complaining about not being able to come home.

A sergeant at the 2nd Battle Combat Team Headquarters was quoted as saying "I've got my own 'Most Wanted' list. The aces in my deck are Paul Bremer, Donald Rumsfeld, George Bush and Paul Wolfowitz." Another soldier ( Spc. Clinton Deitz ) reportedly said when asked the question of what he would say to Donald Rumsfeld if he were sitting in front of them right now "If Donald Rumsfeld was here I'd ask him for his resignation."

As I read what these soldiers had said I was simply stunned and even more so angry. There was more said then just those 2 quotes but that is all I can stomach to post here. Anyone who has followed the stories of the great soldiers who have fought for this country, have been wounded in fierce battles with the enemy, and died on the field of battle to protect this great country should be sickened by these soldiers and what they have said.

They have discraced themselves, their uniforms, and above all their country. I know soldiers are dying, newsflash we are still at war. I know it's hot, newsflash your in the desert. Before you can win the peace you have to finish the war. Now as for what I think, if these soldiers want to show on national TV that they are that weak, that scared, that they can't handle being a United States Soldier then get them on the next plane out of Iraq. Send their butts home, give them a dishonorable discharge, and let them go suck up to the dimwits.

Now I am not lumping all of our heroic soldiers in with these disgraceful little twits. There are many great men & women there who are worthy of our thanks as well as admiration. But these pukes don't deserve a thing from us but a plane ticket home and a swift kick in the arse right out the door of their quarters.

Also in closing I would like to give a lot of credit to the members of (The Free Republic) who brought this to my attention. I would also like to point everyone to a (thread) there started by Kansas Conservative 1 who served in the Air Force for 10 years according to what he said.
